About the role

Are you a brand designer focused not only on delivering top-notch design but also on brand strategy? If yes, this offer might interest you!

As a Sr. Brand Designer at Brainly, you will be responsible for the overall brand governance - the implementation of the brand why, our core values, identity, and design guidelines in an agile way to remain true to the brand while adapting to a rapidly evolving environment.

You will be complementing and reinforcing the existing reputation of our brand, to attract new customers while making existing customers and partners feel at home. An important part of your job will be proactively evangelizing our brand strategy, personality, and visual identity across teams. You will review and consult outward- and inward-facing materials from TV advertising to product solutions to give brand perspective depending on the audience and importance of given brand expression.  

In this role, you will collaborate closely with stakeholders from various departments including but not limited to Design, Communication & PR, Product, and Marketing as well as our external partners. You will be owning our Design System Brand Guidelines and co-create Design System which we understand as a living and breathing organism with a brand area in the heart of it, but we also have specialists from Product, Marketing, Motion and UI Engineering on board so we can guarantee the unique experience of working on shared brand and visual language.

At Brainly we are working on some of the most complex technical challenges in the ed-tech space and creating the product for over 350 million students around the world. We focus on building the infrastructure and features that enable Brainly users to ask and answer millions of questions every day.


  • Identify and provide the right tools and brand guidance to the multiple groups within our organization, taking into consideration the impact on the brand expression
  • Provide multi-media design expertise to manage the way the brand is expressed within internal and external communications including templates and assets (from product solutions, TV advertising, videos, marketing landing pages, print to social media)
  • Partner with multiple stakeholders within Design, Communication & PR, Product, and Marketing departments and their teams to develop our brand agile way in the complex ecosystem
  • Oversee the development of all the brand multi-media design guidelines for both external and internal facing use, to define and articulate how our brand evolves
  • Own Design System Brand space and constantly look for ways to improve its impact, representation, attractiveness, and accessibility




  • 6+ years of professional experience as a Brand Designer
  • Experience working with a brand strategy
  • Experience working with or creating a design language for brands that can be adapted to any format, device, or platform, creating a consistent brand experience


  • Experience with creating a brand strategy
  • Experience in Design Systems
  • Academic degree in the field of design



  • Great communication and storytelling skills
  • Ability to write clear brand guidelines and documentation
  • Strong in the system and strategic thinking
  • Keenness to continuously learn and improve to maintain the highest standard of work
  • Ability to share knowledge through workshops and presentations
  • Team player attitude
  • Ability to work on complex cross-area tasks
  • Ability to take ownership of cross-area (cross-team) design problems


  • An ability to come up with winning concepts and test propositions from scratch

Skills & systems


  • Knowledge about modern brand governance best practices  
  • A strong portfolio focused on brand design for digital and traditional media with an emphasis on the former including UI design
  • Exceptional design & layout skills, great eye for composition, color, typography and detail-oriented
  • Great understanding of visual harmony, information hierarchy, and design patterns
  • Great technical understanding of how to build systems and patterns
  • Expert-level knowledge of Adobe CC & Sketch or Figma
  • Fluency in English (in speaking and writing)

Salary: 15 000 - 20 000 PLN gross monthly (employment contract)
